Namaskara, welcome to Sudha's Kitchen
Carrot - grated 500 gm
Milk 500 ml
Sugar 250 gm
Ghee 1tbsp
Raisins few
Cashewnuts few
Cordamom 3 nos
Heat ghee in a cooker
Add cashew nuts
Raisins
Roast till golden brown colour
Add grated carrot to cooker
Saute for 2 - 3 minutes
Add sugar and mix well
Add milk and mix
Cover lid and cook for 2 whistles
Keep medium flame
Further cook for 5- 6 minutes till it becomes little thick
Add fried cashews and raisins
Cardamom powder
Now delicious carrot halwa is ready
